Butler, upon entering his own subconscious, inadvertently shatters one of the reflections, releasing into the world his dark mirror self, known as Mirror Butler as all we wants to do is be a successful and published writer. What began as a journey of nostalgia spirals out of control into a psychological nightmare. Writing, at first an outlet that offers Butler a modicum of hope, begins to take on a chilling new form as his dark mirror self starts to influence his thoughts and actions. As his obsession with a local librarian named Lily grows, he finds himself entangled in a web of violent urges and deceit.

As his soul ebbs away, Maya and Reggie discover the carnival's dark secret-its ability to ensnare souls in the world of mirrors. Racing against time to rescue their friend, they are thrown into a lethal game at the very heart of the carnival, where mirrors and memories collide. Meanwhile, Butler must make an ultimate sacrifice for those he loves.
