Today was a great day, to say the least, because I had the opportunity to visit the grand opening of Osmow's here at Sawgrass Mall where Tony Roma's used to be. And would you believe it? I am now their very first African American customer at this location - and I create black history trivia with "Famous Firsts" being the first trivia deck being printed. It is a personal pride, and an honor in itself.
But the real kicker of the day had to be their Chicken on the Rox, which they were giving away to the first 200 customers. Gotta say, it was paradise! As opposed to some other spots - *ahem* Sawgrass Mall's Chipotle - Osmow's didn't skimp on any of the ingredients. The rice was abundant, the chicken juicy and the veggies fresh. Each chunk you took had an amazing taste; it would fill you up.
The staff and owners were very warm and cordial, and the whole ordeal was just so smooth-a true pleasure, really. What an auspicious beginning-this already makes me eager to try more of their offerings. If today's offering is anything to go by, then Osmow's is surely a place to which one will not be adverse to returning.
